How do I make an appointment to see Dr. Nina? Do I need a referral?
If you are a new patient, please contact us to schedule your appointment. While a referral may be helpful, it is not necessary to schedule an appointment.
Are appointments in person or by telemedicine?
We offer both options. While in person evaluation is preferred, especially for new patients, it is optional, and we can discuss it further during your introductory call.
Do you provide urgent care?
No, our practice is a consultative integrative neurology clinic. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, or urgent medical problems, please, call 911 and go to the nearest Emergency Department immediately
What is Integrative Medicine?
Integrative Medicine combines conventional medicine with complementary and alternative approaches.

We believe it provides a more comprehensive approach and looks for the root cause of the problem, rather than just treating the symptoms.

Are your services covered by my insurance?
We welcome all Medicare patients. We do not accept commercial plans. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, you may be able to be reimbursed for our services. Please check with your insurance provider. After your visit, we provide you with the itemized super bill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Any reimbursement will depend on your specific plan and benefits. If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA), you may check with your HSA representative to determine what they allow to be purchased with your HSA funds.
What should I expect during my first visit?
- Review of your medical history and intake form.
- Full assessment, including detailed neurological examination
- Discussion of the further steps to establish the correct diagnosis and possible treatment options combining conventional treatments with and natural remedies and non-pharmacological options, including diet, exercise, acupuncture, biofeedback, psychotherapy, physical therapy, etc.
- Detailed summary of recommendations will be provided to you after your visit.
How much does comprehensive laboratory testing cost?
While in-depth assessment may be costly (over $1000), we tailor your evaluation to your needs, so you can start your journey to health in a more budget-friendly manner. We will work with you to choose the best plan of action for you.
